Luke Sheets

I initially came to Nashville as an artist. In 2006 however, I fell completely in love with songwriting and signed my first publishing deal with Weimarhymes Publishing. My songwriting then gained attention when I was filmed for a documentary called The Nashville 9 where I wrote 9 different songs, in 9 days, for 9 different artists, from 9 different genres. I then went on to film a songwriting TV Pilot called "Finding the Song." In 2010 I charted my first #1 single with Plumb's "Hang On," which went #1 on Billboard's Club/Play and Dance Top 40 Charts.

Since then, I’ve been a songwriter with Curb Records, Bigger Picture Group and Warner Chappell.  I’ve had the opportunity to write with tons of amazing artists including singles with Ryan Kinder, Ruthie Collins, Plumb, Kristy Lee Cook, and others.  Recently, while learning to speak French, I’ve had several fun opportunities to write and produce Quebec artists.  Spoiler alert - my French is still pretty terrible.
