The Bluebird Cafe Mourns The Loss Of Barbara Orbison

The Bluebird Cafe, the Nashville community and the world are deeply saddened by the news of Barbara Orbison’s passing yesterday in LA.   A force of nature, her legacy lives on in her unwavering support of her husband’s music and memory as well as her own determination to provide a voice and a vision for all musicians and songwriters.   A supporter and patron of The Bluebird Cafe, she purchased 20 chairs, as part of The Bluebird Cafe’s Adopt A Seat program, which are named in honor of Roy Orbison and his esteemed musical colleagues and friends.  Our hearts and our sympathy go out to Orbison’s family and friends at this sad time.
